No. 11 is situated just 0.7 miles/1.1 km from Edinburgh Waverley Station. If you have small luggage and the weather is dry it’s just a 10-15 minute walk downhill. Otherwise you can take a taxi (approx. £4-5) or the bus (15, 19, 26, 34, 4, 44, 44A).
The bus stop is reached by walking up onto Princes Street via the Waverley Steps escalator exit (crossing over onto the other side). Once on the bus you must get off at Hillside Crescent which is the second left, just off London Road.

Nearest bus stop is Hillside Crescent (2 minutes walk) with the buses 1, 15, 19, 26, 34, 4, 44, 44A, 5 if you come from the city centre or Brunswick Street bus stop if you come from outside town.
Costs are £1.60 (adult) / £0.80 (child) for a single ticket or £4.00 (adult) / £2.00 (child) for a day ticket. Make sure you have the correct money. Virtually all buses running within Edinburgh do not give change so it’s best to carry a number of £1 and 10p coins with you.

The nearest airport is Edinburgh Airport International. From here you can take:
- Taxi (approx. £20-25). Subject to traffic the taxi ride takes between 20 min – 40 min
- Airlink Bus 100 (£4.50 single/£7.50 return) Find out more here. The bus stops at Waverley Station where you can either walk or switch bus as per the instructions above.

Metered parking is available outside the hotel – free at weekends, £1.80 per hour 8.30am-5.30pm or on London Road (3 minute walk) for £4.00 per day 8.30am-5.30pm (limited spaces available).
Edinburgh operates a very effective parking warden system so please be aware that you should expect a parking ticket is you overstay a parking meter or park in a restricted area such as a “permit holders only” location.
NCP car parks are available at St James shopping centre and Omni Centre which are about a 5 minute walk, however these charge around £20 per 24hr period.
